I’ve had my fill with AI Botts this week. I’ve been unable to accomplish my tasks because every system I encountered has installed an AI Bott to answer the phone!
The facts are that phone Bott’s can only accept the answers they are programed for. So, unless your answer is YES or NO, the bott can’t help you. Ask for an agent/ operator i.e. a real person, you end up frustrated and screaming at the phone! Similarly, I’ve gotten a number of solicitation calls from AI Botts, “you’ve been approved for a loan” etc. You can’t answer back unless you say yes, all you can do is block this number, but they’ll call back from a different phone number, in an hour. Or the health plans I’m constantly be bombarded by.. I’ve gotten smart, if you hear a click after you say Hello, hang up, it’s a Bott!
I looked at AI generated advertising solicitons, they too assume you are an automaton with no thoughts, emotions, opinions, likes or dislikes! If you’re on Facebook or other Social Media sites you’ve been accosted by them, so you know what I mean.
Wake up! If this is the face of AI, I predict it’s fall faster than it’s rise!
